Sling Panties
Sling panties as in a baby sling made of mommy's panties (yes, they were clean!). G usually takes one of my slings or wraps and tries to wear her baby in it, of course it is much to long. This morning, (notice the jammies) while I was folding laundry she took a pair of my panties and put them over her shoulder and put baby in them so she could wear baby just like mommy wears M. I just couldn't resist a picture of it. She is getting a child sized ring sling for Christmas so she can wear her baby for real. I'm sure baby will be going to the grocery store, library, mall and wherever else in her sling.

What do you think the best sling or wrap is for one year olds and up? Any opinions?
Kristin - I am learning as I go with baby wearing. I did not wear Gabby, didn't know anything about it unfortunately. I borrowed my friend Meredith's Mai Tai and wore Gabby on my back once - she loved it! For Maddie I have a sun protectant ring sling and a stretchy wrap. The wrap was made, but it copies a Moby wrap. If you look in my Blog or Sites of interest you will see one for the Sling Station and Along For the Ride - both are great resources. Both my wrap and ring sling can carry 35-40 pounds. Meredith do you want to chime in here?
