I made my first bows today for G and M. I was looking at all the fun ribbon prints at Hobby Lobby and had a hard time choosing ribbon. I would have loved to buy at least 10 different prints, but then what would I do with all that extra ribbon? I remember Meredith mentioning a few weeks ago that we should all buy ribbon and make bows then exchange the bows so that you get one of each pattern. Based on that idea I would like to know who is interested in doing a bow exchange. I was thinking about seeing how many area ladies (or not in the area I can ship) are interested? Depending on the number of ladies I was thinking if we had 5 moms, grandmas, aunts, or friends of any who has girls or knows anyone with girls then each person would get about 5 bows for around $10. I will buy all the supplies and make the bows. If you are interested let me know. Also let me know any color choices for bows - oranges, greens, brown/pink, animal print.... The possibilities are pretty much endless, but if you have something specific in mind then I will purchase that color or pattern of ribbon. If you don't have anything specific then I will get a variety of colors and patterns. Here is a picture of one of the bows I made today.

I am so in! I think I remember talking about it at Meredith's house. I would also love to learn how to make bows too! The bow you made is adorable. Let me know how I can help.
I will show you - it is really easy. Maybe we can get whoever wants to together and just have a bow making party. Although I don't if that will be very productive with the kids who will inevitably want to "help." Maybe we can plan an afternoon/evening and let the dad's keep the kids!
cute!!!
Yup, that idea happened at our playdate a while back! I'm totally in. I want to learn. I think that is so cute to have a bow exchange/bow making party. I'll post it on my blog to see if anyone else is interested. (Most of my friends have boys, LOL!!)
*I bought a beautiful bow at Heart's Desire for about $12. It has different fabrics & colors with a gem in the center. We need to learn how to make those too!
