G usually goes to bed between 7:30 and 8:00. Sometimes she talks herself to sleep and other times she just crashes. Well tonight at around 8:00, she had been in bed talking when she started saying, "Mommy, mommy." I ignored it at first because there was no crying involved. She started getting progressively louder. Then she started saying, "Mommy, I have a booger." I went up there expecting to find a booger, but found none. Then she told me it was in her nose. I turned on the light and looked. No booger. I even suctioned her nose with a nose syringe. No booger. I turned back off the light and was proceeding to tuck her in again. Then she said, "Mommy, I have to go sit on the potty." I wasn't going to argue with that or deny her because she has
never gone on the potty and she has only sat on the potty maybe 5 or 6 times in the past month. So of course I sat her on the potty. We sat, and sat, and sat. All the time she was talking away about this and that. We sat some more. I finally had to give her a 2 minute countdown. She never did go on the potty - big surprise here, but she sure did manipulate me into not going to bed and being with Mommy. What a little stinker!

Too funny!
Allie started calling out for me when school was getting out. Of course I ran right up there b/c it was so out of character for her to call my name. She just wanted me and didn't want to be in bed. Now every time we tell her it's time for bed she stalls us with reading another story, singing more songs and of course telling us she needs to potty.
It's amazing how smart they are at 2!
Too cute!
I can so see her doing that...that is CLASSIC!
What a stinker! A treasured moment though! She's a doll.
