A/C help!

Our A/C went out last night. Luckily Matt got it working again, so we didn't get too hot. The entire unit is OLD and is running on many years of borrowed time. We will replace it with a dual unit so that upstairs has a separate unit. We want to get estimates from several companies before we spend such a large chunk of cash. Do any of you have a A/C company you recommend? Please leave a comment with any info! Thanks!!!!

We have used Atlantic A/C and liked them! You are my 4th friend or family member who has had A/C issues in the last 2 weeks! You will be the 3rd with a new unit=)

We put the new unit in our old house from A/C Appliance Pros
972-664-0055
or
214 522-9288

My parents also used them....We put in our unit about 5 years ago in the old house and my parents did their unit about 8 years ago. We have loved the service from this company from the very first visit when the owner comes to give you an estimate herself and explains all about the units and what the terms mean. Then we always got our A/C serviced twice a year to keep our 10 year warranty for Parts and Labor with them. We had nothing but good experiences with them. Amy just got an A/c Unit put in last week with them also:)

If you do choose them will you give them my parents names as a refferal since they will get a free A/c Check up from it---and we are not in the old house anymore so we would not get anything. Their names are
Scott and Nancy Pierce.

Good luck!

We used ADVENT. Our system from them is a TRANE. I don't have much to compare them too but I thought they did a wonderful job. They got it done in a good time and showed me everything they did and how everything worked. They were very helpful.
I can't believe it went out. Weren't we just talking about that the other day at HF? Call if you need a cool place to crash.

Oh, you may want to check Amy Meeker. She just got a new A/C too!

We just spent our life savings this week on an AC :) We used AC Appliance Pros, reference Amanda's mom and dad. They are excellent!!!!! My Mom used Barbosa, they are great too but very expensive. AC Appliance Pros only use TRANE and they know what they are doing.

972-664-0055 Caryn is the owner and she actually comes to your house and spends about an hour explaining everything to you. I loved her!

Thanks for all the recommendations girls! We are in the process of getting estimates. Hopefully we will have made a decision by Tuesday and get all the work done this week. From what we have talked about so far it will take
1-2 days to get all the work done.
