We went down to New Braunfels and Seguin for the 4th of July. The girls were great travelers! We went to the parade in Seguin in the morning. G loved it! I was really worried that she would be scared by all the loud noise but it didn't bother her one bit. Her Uncle Brian says it is because she has some small town in her. She proved that right by having to have her sippy cup in a coozie all weekend.

After the parade we partied the night away at my sister's house in New Braunfels. Gshocked all of us by running around and playing all night with many strangers around her. The fireworks were in perfect view from Renee's backyard. M was asleep by the time they started (in fact, M slept through most of the party), but Gabby loved them and she didn't mind the noise at all. We did not leave the party until 11:15 and Gabriella talked the entire way back to Grammy and Opie's house in Seguin (about a 30 minute drive) about everything she had done that day. G is usually in bed by 8:00 so we were again surprised that she stayed up so late and was not even cranky.

On Sunday, we went back over to Aunt Renee's house for G and M to play with their cousin's, Meghan and Kendyl. They played in the sprinkler and little pool in the back yard all afternoon. Towards evening, the deer started coming out of the woods. G got to see a deer being fed by hand from a neighbor. She loved seeing the deer so close.

It was a great long weekend. We all enjoyed ourselves but are exhausted and glad to be back home!

Looks like y'all had a lot of fun. I love their outfits.
Paige - I can't help myself. I just had to have them matching. When they get older they won't want to match so I have to do it while I still can.
I, too, love the matching outfits...my mom did the same thing with Karen and me, except that Karen got the rotten end of the stick b/c she got to wear hers and then mine the next year!
