We had an impromptu trip to the Interurban Railway Museum this morning. The girls really didn't care about the history aspect, but they loved looking at and exploring everything. This museum has no cost, but they will gladly accept donations! There were about 7 museum staff members that got involved with our little family of 4 and let the girls try out everything! One man even had Miss M counting with him to see how long it took for one of the model trains to take off again. Adjacent to the museum was a pond and a park. Since it was an unusually mild morning with temps only in the upper 70's and overcast the girls played for a long time. It would also be a great spot for a picnic because there are a lot of trees and even a gazebo surrounding the pond. The museum also has a preschool story time on Friday mornings at 10:30. We will be going back for sure!
