Crafty Flowers

I borrowed this idea from my friend Meredith to make flowers out of an egg carton. Saturday it was just me and girls, so we got crafty. Well, M was actually down for a nap when G was painting. I'll attempt painting with both girls by myself one of these days, but not yet. Those of you that know G will understand this - at first she was so careful not to get any paint on her hands, but after about 5 minutes she didn't care anymore. By the end, she even had a little paint in her hair. I must say I was proud of her for not "freaking out" about being dirty! We didn't get
to assemble the bouquet until this morning because the paint had to dry - hence the heart jammies in the 1st picture.
Extreme caution
Not so careful anymore!
The vase started out blue, but she ending up mixing the red and blue to make a purple vase - smart girl!
