M had her 12 month well baby visit this morning. The pedi. said she looked perfect - as if I didn't already know that. M is not walking or pulling up yet, but she said it was not a concern until 14 months. M will do things in her own time.
M at 12 months:
Weight: 17 lbs. 11 oz. (5%)
Height: 28 1/4 in. (25%)
G at 12 months:
Weight: 17 lbs. 4 oz.
Height: 27 in.
The pedi. was also very supportive that we were continuing to nurse and will do child led weaning. She also mentioned that sleep can become difficult at this age because seperation anxiety is peeking around this age. This will explain a lot if that is what is going on with M. She said to go to her in the night when she cries and let her know that you are there. If she needs to nurse to be comforted, then nurse her. This was so wonderful to hear instead of the old - let them cry it out.

Sounds like she had a good check up. Great to see you yesterday. Sorry the girls weren't there, but I'm sure you enjoyed just "you" time. Hopefully we can get the girls together soon.

So glad that M is doing well. Leigh didn't walk until 16 months, but when she did--oh my gosh--she ran! It was like she was perfecting it in her mind before she actually did it.
