My girls are so blessed, as well as myself, to have a father so involved. Daddy loves showing G things and taking her to do things that, well let's just be honest, I could care less about. Not only is Daddy wonderful in giving G these experiences, but he also helps out with the everyday ins and outs of parenting and upkeep of our home: changing diapers, wiping noses, cleaning, cooking, dealing with temper tantrums ... the list goes on and on. Yesterday he had some M time while G and I were at gymnastics. He and Madeline went to Starbucks and then to the Collin County Democratic Party office to pick up some more Obama yard signs. (The yard signs are another post all together - coming soon.)
Today on this beautiful Sunday Daddy took G fishing, which she loves! It was great for them to get out and spend some quality time just the two of them without me or M "getting in the way." Right now G is supposed to be taking a nap but she is upstairs in her bed telling all her animals about her fishing expedition with Daddy. I wonder if she will even nap today? I don't know if she is old enough to have a long term memory of today, but I know I will remember her excited face and stories forever.

Wow! How lucky the Trost girls are to have such a special daddy. And you too, Kristen. Love that Matt took Maddie to get yard signs!
