The Butterflies Have Emerged!

This morning, while the girls had a friend over to play, three of the butterflies emerged from their cocoons!

Coincidentally, about an hour before they came out of their cocoons, we made paper plate butterflies. The girls had fun doing dot paints on their plates. We then cut the plates apart (I cut the three year olds' plates), added a body, googly eyes, and antennae. Miss M did not wish to hold her dot paint butterfly for the picture. This is a non messy and fun craft! It was our first time using the dot paints, and we will be using them again!
