Miss M is going through Celiac testing. This means she is on a regular diet for the next couple of weeks before her testing. We are just at the beginning stages of testing and are learning more about it as we go. She does however, get to eat what ever she wants for the next few weeks. That sure makes my Christmas baking easy because I do not have to worry about any of it being gluten free!
Miss G will not be enjoying Christmas much this year. After repeated tonsillitis (about every 3 to 4 weeks) since mid August the ENT suggested have her tonsils removed. Her surgery is scheduled for December 20th. We went for her pre-op blood work today. The nurses were all ready to try and distract her. I don't think they believed me when I told them that she should be fine and probably watch the whole thing. She sat in my lap, held out her arm, and didn't even flinch when they drew the blood. No tears, not even an "ow." They were shocked! I laughed and told them to wait a couple of weeks when I brought in my 2 year old for her blood work. They will need all the tricks on her!
