We made our annual trip to the Plano Balloon Festival on Saturday after a rain delay for Friday's original plans. It was humid and very crowded this year, but none of that matters because the girl's had a great time! We usually pack snacks for the girls, but this year we let them try their very first funnel cake. Of course, they loved it! (For those of you that follow the blog know that Miss M is on a reduced gluten diet, but we do let her enjoy in moderation until we find out she is more than just gluten intolerant.) At the end of the evening, just before the balloon glow, we ran into our good friends, the Braaten's. Miss M enjoyed seeing Miss K, but G was G as usual and didn't even talk to them. Oh well, she will grow out of her bashfulness one of these years, right? By this time of the evening Miss M was too busy (probably on her sugar high) to sit still for pictures, but G obliged to many photos with mom and dad! Oh, and you will have to pardon the no makeup, but it was way to hot!
