Miss M had her 15 month well baby check up today. She weighs 20 pounds - 20%!!! G didn't reach 20 pounds until she was almost 20 months. M is 30 inches tall - 40%!! Her pedi. said she looked great and is meeting all her developmental stages. I keep thinking that she is behind verbally, but that is just because G was/is so advanced in her language. G had about 40 words by 15 months and M has around 5 or 6 words, but can sign 8 additional words. The pedi. didn't even question that she was still nursing and did not even ask if she was getting cows milk. It is so refreshing to have an advocate for extended nursing!

I guess my two were chubby cuties--they were both 20 lbs 4 oz at their one year check up.
