I had a couple of posts in a row on G and didn't want to leave out M. She is doing so much these days - I am just amazed about how much she seems to be learning everyday. She is saying Dada quite clearly and has said Mama a few times. She talks non stop - I think she gets that from Matt (tee-hee-hee) She is also scooting forwards and backwards while on her belly. I predict she will be crawling within a month. She is also trying to sit up from a lying down position, but can't quite get there yet. M can also stand while holding on to your hands. She loves her food. Here are some of her favorites: avocado, carrots, peas, squash, pears, green beans, apples, black olives, cheese ... the list can actually go on for a while. The only thing she ate at first that she doesn't really like now is broccoli - too bad because the rest of the family loves it. We are using sign language with her - milk, eat, more, all done, please, and thank you. She isn't able to sign yet, but she is communicating with us at eating time if she wants to nurse or wants more food by very loud grunts. If you don't give her what she wants immediately she just gets louder!
Oh yeah, and she is now up at night nursing. This started on New Year's Eve. I thought it was a fluke thing and she just wanted to ring in the new year with me. I admit I was a bit shocked because she hasn't been up in the middle of the night in 5 or 6 months. I attributed it to a growth spurt, but now I am wondering if she is not reverse cycling - or at least partially reverse cycling. It started off being about a 12 am wake up, but now it is around 8:30 or 9:00 and then sometimes again at 12 am.
