Today is G's 2nd birthday. On Sunday we celebrated with Grammy, Opie, Grandma, Papa, Aunt Izzie, Aunt Christy, and Uncle Dave. We had a barbecue dinner and of course cake. Gloved eating her cake and opening presents. She got a tricycle from Mommy and Daddy. She is too short to reach the pedals, but she will grow into it soon.
Today at Love and Lollipops she had cupcakes with her friends. Lucky girl - cake 2 days in a row!
Some of the things G is doing at age 2:
- being a wonderful big sister
- throwing tantrums - she really has been throwing these for over a year, but they have increased with intensity.
- speaking in complete sentences about 90% of the time
- wanting to dress and undress herself - which can make for extra time needed when we get dressed in the morning or get ready to go somewhere
- manipulating whatever and whomever she can
Of course I could go on and on about everything she is doing, but I will stop there.
She goes to her pediatrician tomorrow for her 2 year check up and shots - poor thing. I will update with her 2 years stats tomorrow.
